We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, contact details, the tax years and services you ask about, and the documents you upload to your client portal. We also collect limited technical information about your visit to this website, such as pages viewed and general device information.
How we use information
Information is used to determine what needs to be filed, to prepare and file your returns, to communicate with you about your case, to meet our legal and professional obligations, and to operate and secure this website and the client portal.
How we share information
We do not sell your information. We share it only where necessary to deliver the service you engaged us for or where the law requires: with tax authorities as part of filing a return, with service providers who operate parts of our platform under contract, and with your authorised representatives where you have instructed us to do so.
Document handling
Documents are exchanged through your client portal rather than by email attachment. Internal access is limited to staff working on your case, and activity on a case is recorded.
Retention
We retain records for as long as required by professional and legal obligations relating to prepared returns, and then dispose of them securely. Specific retention periods are pending confirmation by ITC.
Your choices
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw an instruction, subject to the records we are required to keep. Contact us at support@itctaxsolutions.com.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. We will never ask you for your Social Security number, banking credentials or identification documents by text message, social media or unsolicited call.
